Automated Notching Saw System

Automated notching saw for sill and jamb fabrication, designed to notch the ends of precut vinyl and aluminum window and door profiles.

Notching Saw Overview

Kent Automation’s automated notching saw supports sill and jamb fabrication in the same machine, helping window and door manufacturers streamline profile preparation.

Equipped with two adjustable saw assemblies, the system notches the ends of precut vinyl and aluminum window and door profiles with repeatable accuracy. Single or double nest configurations can be used to meet different production needs.

As shown in the product brochure, the notching saw includes screw-feed driven sawing configurations, durable fixture nests, Allen-Bradley electrical components, and a heavy-duty welded steel frame to support long-term performance.

Features and Benefits

  1. Sill and Jamb Fabrication

Single or double nest options allow both sill and jamb profiles to be fabricated in the same notching saw.
  2. Adjustable Saw Assemblies

Two adjustable saw assemblies notch the ends of precut profiles, supporting accurate window and door fabrication.
  3. Screw-Feed Control

Screw-feed driven sawing configurations allow multiple stopping points for added fabrication flexibility.
  4. 45º and 90º Sawing

The system includes one 45º saw and one 90º saw, each equipped with a 4 HP motor and mechanical brake
  5. Durable Machine Build

A heavy-duty welded steel frame, hard coat anodized fixture nests, and THK linear bearings support long-term performance.
  6. Electrical and Safety Features

    Allen-Bradley electrical components and a ½” filter/regulator with OSHA-compliant lockout/tagout support safe, reliable operation.
