Automated End Milling Machines

Air-over-oil feed end milling machines for milling vinyl, aluminum, fiberglass, and wood.

End Mill Overview

Kent Automation’s end mills support accurate profile-end fabrication for vinyl, fiberglass, and aluminum window and door components.

Each machine uses an air-over-oil feed system with a high-speed precision spindle and custom contoured cutter tooling to mill the ends of precut profiles. Carbide-tipped cutter stacks support vinyl and aluminum, while fiberglass profiles are milled with a diamond-coated shaper wheel.

The product brochure highlights custom hard coat anodized nesting, pneumatic horizontal and vertical clamping, manual flow control, THK linear bearings, and Allen-Bradley electrical components for durable, repeatable operation.

Features and Benefits

  1. Vinyl and Aluminum Milling

Carbide-tipped cutter stacks support accurate milling for vinyl and aluminum window and door profiles.
  2. Fiberglass Profile Milling

Fiberglass profiles are milled with a diamond-coated shaper wheel for material-specific fabrication needs.
  3. Custom Fixture Nesting

Hard coat anodized nesting, with optional fixture change-out, helps support repeatable profile positioning.
  4. Pneumatic Clamping System

Horizontal and vertical clamping, activated by an air/oil cylinder, holds profiles securely during milling.
  5. Adjustable Cutter Stroke

Manual flow control on the cutter stroke cylinder allows operators to adjust feed movement for the application.
  6. Durable System Build

A heavy-duty welded steel frame, THK linear bearings, and Allen-Bradley components support long-term operation.
